For nearly twenty years, Andrea’s avid curiosity about skin and its relationship to overall well-being has led her in rich and wonderful directions. While receiving her formal training from Lia Schorr and working with industry legends including Susan Ciminelli, Anne Semonin and Jo Malone, Andrea also studied holistic remedies, nutrition, yoga, lymphatic massage and women’s health in order to enhance her personal approach. Jump start your summer skin look with Milkseed’s Summer Glow. We all know a ‘real’ sun tan is a big no-go for all skin types and ages, but we have formulated the perfect fake-out hint of tint treatment serum to sail straight through the summer with, blended to play beautifully under the sunblock you wear (and swear by) every single summer day.
Our superstar Milkseed anti-oxidant oil is combined with coconut and sea buckthorn. Coconut oil helps skin naturally control oil secretions, a huge plus whether you are beachside or on city sidewalks, balancing the the skin’s pH level without blocking pores. Coconut oil contains vitamins A, B and E as well as being an excellent source of Omega 3 and 6 - translation anti-aging and restorative
If you tried our Holiday Milkseed blend, then you already know Sea Buckthorn is the wrinkle warrior of oils loaded with too-many-to-list bioactive components, fatty acids and one of the richest sources of Vitamin A and Omega 7. This combo gives a big assist in reviving and replenishing sun-soaked skins. We brought that right into the blend lightening up on the hydration using coconut oil but kicking up the hint of tint Sea Buckthorn leaves behind on the skin for the perfect Summer Glow.

Milkseed oil brings all of its super seed powers, hydrating, boosting skin’s collagen building and kicking up the anti-oxidants skins so desperately need after days in the sun (or dehydrating air-conditioned offices).
Rose Hip oil is finally getting the scientific back-up it deserves, confirming this excellent oil’s anti-aging skin rejuvenation qualities, elastin building properties and reparative components that address uv damage, hyper-pigmentation, age spots, and if you forgot your sunblock, sunburn. A dose of this oil nightly will even alleviate sun-sapped skin dullness.
Hemp oil, another unsung underused hydrator, is high in essential fatty acids, amazingly rich in Omega 3 oils and polyunsaturated fatty acids which all add up to an excellent emollient, drenching the skin in moisture and ramping up its natural defenses against pollution and sun. Hemp’s high content of Vitamin E and ability to compensate for lower ceramide levels associated with aging means it is a terrific treatment for both women’s wrinkles and men’s moisture concerns.
